European Roulette
European Roulette is a table casino game where the roulette wheel consists of numbers 1 to 36 alternately colored in red and blacks with the single zero marked in green. The object of the game is to correctly predict where the ball will land on the roulette wheel.
There are a great many betting options in European Roulette covering various parts of the table and going from individual numbers to number combinations, inside and outside bets and colors amongst others.
Below are listed the different betting possibilities offered in European Roulette:
Straight Up: An inside bet on a single number.
Split: An inside bet on two adjoining numbers both in the horizontal and vertical.
Street: An inside bet on three numbers found on a single vertical line.
Corner: An inside bet on four numbers.
Four: An inside bet on the numbers 0, 1, 2, and 3.
Line: An inside bet on six numbers.
Column: An outside bet on the twelve numbers which make up any of the three horizontal lines. For this bet, the chips are placed on the right side of the table in one of the boxed labeled “2 to 1”.
Dozen: An outside bet on any of the three groups of twelve numbers: 1 – 12, 13 – 24 or 25 – 36. For this bet, the chips are placed in the boxes labeled “1st 12”, “2nd 12” or “3rd 12”.
Red/Black: An outside bet on whether the color of the winning number will be red or black.
Even/Odd: An outside bet on whether the winning number will be even or odd.
Low/High: An outside bet on whether the winning number will fall into the low or high category, respectively numbers 1 – 18 or 19 – 36.
